You Need A Driver During Carnival Season
The Carnival season is a lot of fun in New Orleans; however, getting around town can be a nightmare. Parade routes, which tend to be major thoroughfares, get blocked off to traffic hours before the parades start. Of course, there is no parking on the parade routes on parade days. To make matters worse, the constant construction projects all over town continue to force you to take detours. Furthermore, officials have not even confirmed some parade route changes due to the Hard Rock Hotel construction site collapse that forced the closure on Canal Street. Those changes will impact Endymion and Zulu.
